Future Antiques designs sometimes make use of the joints that are traditional in woodwork and joinery as trademark decorative features for chests and tables. Some pieces also incorporate traditional coopering and bent wood techniques as key features of design. Simple contrasts of light and dark wood combinations are another design characteristic that is used. We do our own veneering on a traditional veneer press that has been in service for much longer than we have !
